Miniature Cake: Raspberries and Roses

This dollie wedding cake/occasion cake is really a marriage of three of my most favorite things: art doll/miniature worlds, cooking/baking/food, and flowers/flower gardening!

This exquisite cake in miniature was handmade/handsculpted without molds by me in a magical "bakery" studio full of handmade art dolls, pictures of sumptuous flower bouquets, and strands of golden lights...

Filled with thoughts of summer flower gardens and weddings and the pleasures of luxurious cakes and pastry, I designed this cake to have vanilla buttercream and raspberries sprinkled with delicate wild roses.

The scent of real wild roses is intoxicating, and the implication makes this just the right cake for a doll who experiences the world through her senses.

I imagine it perfect for an English garden party, summer wedding, or birthday party with doll friends, perhaps indulged alongside glasses of rose petal iced tea and a good book of poetry.

If you'd like to purchase this signed collector's piece ($35 + S&H), please email me at artworks@bonnenuitdesigns.com.
